The Camp was great
because the children were active and involved in a lot of different
sports activities. The facility was colorful and very
appealing. The counselors, trainers and the staff were very
helpful and friendly. My son, Kyle, said that the program was a
lot of fun and very challenging at the same time. Kelly Bollhofer St. James |
We are so impressed with
Coach Nick Gordon and the whole staff at Three Village Soccer and
Recreation. It is obvious their goal is to provide a positive,
holistic experience for each child. Our son and daughter are
having so much fun and can't stop talking about ways to be stronger,
get healthier and play better soccer! We just can't believe they
are right in our own backyard--how lucky are we! Our
daughter, Kirsten, said 'I made lots of friends and got healthier and
stronger while doing it. The counselors are the best and support
you in everything! I love this camp!' Steve and June Crovello Port Jefferson |
We want to let you know
how pleased we are and how especially pleased our twelve-year-old son
is with your summer camp program. Spencer has attended a total of
three popular camps over the years before yours, one sports camp and
two all-activities day camps. Your camp has been his favorite by
far. He looks forward to going to camp each day and would
willingly stay longer if he could. The other camps had a lot of
sitting around, waiting to move to new locations for new activities and
waiting for those activities to begin. At those camps, he would
come home reporting that camp was boring, and even ask to stay
home. Your camp is all action, and he's excited and happy all the
time. He also likes the counselors, especially Nick Gordon.
We have always appreciated Nick's enthusiasm, energy and dedication for
soccer and for coaching his teams, and he brings that same enthusiasm
and energy to his campers, joining and coaching them in the games they
play. It's great that the camp also offers them the chance to
learn how to play cricket. I don't know where else they could
have that very international opportunity. Spencer also
appreciates the indoor air-conditioned facility, so that on sweltering
or rainy days the fun doesn't have to slow down; the campers just play
indoors. Also if campers don't want to participate in a planned
activity, they can talk to the counselors and do something different -
today, they made up two games of their own. You don't get that
flexibility and creativity in other camps. Finally, he looks
forward to the Wii tournatments. What kid wouldn't? Thanks
for creating such a wonderful experience for our son. Nancy and Tod Levitt E. Setauket |
Wow! What a healthy,
safe way for children to spend some time during their summer. My three
children, Katherine 13, Billy 12, and Charlie 10, just finished a week
at this sports camp. They played back-to-back dodgeball,
kickball, soccer, running bases, basketball, volleyball, flag football,
badminton, gladiator challenges and races, to name a few. Every
day my totally worn out children excitedly told me about their
day. I was very impressed to hear how the counselors were all
hands-on making sure rules were followed and teams were even, in
addition to having fun and playing these active games with my
children. Katherine, my 9th grader, said 'This is the first camp
that doesn't annoy me.' She couldn't wait to go back the next
day! Billy and Charlie went on about which games they won, which
friends were on their teams and what they were going to play the next
day. The children are looking forward to going back in
August. Peggy Theiss E. Setauket |
